Re : When does it stop?

<t>Oh, Delissa how very sad. It breaks my heart to hear it. I will keep that precious little girl and her parents in my prayers. I am glad you were there to provide them support through such a difficult time. You know what they are going through. Unfortuanately, we all do on this site. I think when ...

Re : When does it stop?

<t>Hi Delissa,<br/> <br/> I know this may be very difficult, but I think we (everyone who has lost a child or loved one) have to try and stay focused on the good things that have or will happen in our lives. It's very sad, but death unfortunatley is a part of life we have to learn and try to accept....

Re : Doctor's appointments

<t>I am very sorry. I remember going to my six week postpardom checkup and I could barely look at the other pregnant women. There was a couple sitting in front of me who had apparently just found out they were pregnant. They were so happy and here I was sitting in front of them so very sad and appre...

Re : would have been first birthday

<t>I am so very sorry for your loss. When I read your post that your baby would have been a year old it really saddened me. I also lost my first child in September. A baby girl whom we named Olivia. I was almost 24 weeks when I had to have a c-section because of severe preeclampsia. She lived for al...

Re : Stopping BP meds.....yay! (and a question) Update

<t>How far how were any of you postpardom when the Drs. started weaning you off? I tried to get my doctor to go down on my labetol but she wouldn't. My BPs are pretty low for me right now and I would like to try and wean some of them off. How can I convince her otherwise? I am a nurse so it's not li...

Re : 6 years ago today...

My loss is much more recent, but I truly know how you feel. I have heard many women say that no matter how long it has been the saddness never goes away. I guess I was hoping that it would. I will be thinking of you and your family.

Re : Two months since Olivia's death.

<t>I am going to counseling with my husband. It helps, but of course it doesn't take the sadness away. It does help to talk about what my husband and I went through during Olivia's three months in the NICU. It was a very traumatizing experience for the both of us. Sometimes, I don't know how on eart...

Re : Two months since Olivia's death.

<t>Thank you for responding. I have been in such a slump the last few days. It's hard to get through the days at times espcially when I am at work. It's just comforting to know that other women have experienced the same feelings and emotions that I am going through. I told my husband yesterday that ...

Two months since Olivia's death.

<t>Today it has been two months since Olivia died. What a sad and depressing day. I went to church this morning and looked at the program for the morning and realized one of the songs we were going to sing was Amazing Grace. This songs that was sung at her funeral and was one of the lullabies we pla...

Re : How did your husband/partner act?

<t>I am very sorry for your loss. My husband and I lost our daughter recently as well (2 months tomorrow). One thing we have found helpful and I know other women on the forum have suggested it, but couseling does help. It may give him an outlet for his loss. I agree with the other ladies that crying...
