Re: How soon try for pregnancy?

Eh, I wouldn't take that advice too seriously, in all my years here I have never seen anything indicating a higher risk of pre-e due to being closely spaced. (Nor stillbirth risk increasing.) My doctors' biggest concern were the repeat c-sections and were fine when I got pregnant again when DS1 was ...

Re: Getting nervous... bp 111/74 has been under 100/65

My bp did the same thing with both my boys. It made me crazy nervous but all was well, they were 36 and 37 weekers and no official pre-e.

Re: Considering termination

YIKES, I would get new doctors for sure! It's like you have the blind leading the blind there. I really can't believe an ob/gyn would suggest termination for your history. I mean, it's not great, but I have seen far far worse go on to have healthy subsequent pregnancies.

Re: I need to vent

It has been 7 years since DH was in the AF but when he was in there was a Patient Advocate type person for these types of situations. There is no way I would be okay with that even if I had to show up at the base commander's door myself. (I would just start taking it up the chain of command and not ...

Re: LOVENOX question

I was on it for 2 pregnancies. The bruising was always hit and miss for me, no real way to avoid it that worked consistently. I had no issues with bleeding.

Re: What are Non Stress Tests?

They may or may not have someone do the buzzer/click thingy when they feel movement. My practice told me they don't do that anymore. (They did for my April 2011pregnancy but had stopped a little more than a year later. It was nice to just relax and nor have to "record" movement.

Re: New Member- Real Experiences, Pregnancy After Class 1 HE

I had class I HELLP at 23 weeks with our daughter (who unfortunately did not survive.) I have since gone on to have two more relatively healthy pregnancies. My blood clotting disorder bloodwork all came back normal but my MFM put me on lovenox anyway as she thought it was likely I had a clotting dis...

Re: Pregnancy after Severe Preeclampsia HELLP @ 23 wk

What awful awful things people have said to you! I don't know if I'd still be speaking to anyone that said something like that to me. As far as trying again, my doctors advised me to wait 6 months for my c-section incision to heal. My lab work and everything else was normal before I left the hospita...

Re: Pregnancy after Severe Preeclampsia HELLP @ 23 wk

Hi there. I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our daughter in 2009 after I developed HELLP at 23 wks. I have since had two relatively healthy pregnancies after it, a 36 weeker and 37 weeker and no HELLP or pre-e either time. I was on blood thinners and closely monitored by my MFM (a high risk doctor...

Re: Csection questions

Yay I'm so glad you are doing well! 1. What would you recommend for feelings? Glider/recliner? Or just glider/ottoman? We have a rocker/recliner, I love it for the baby (it's in our living room and I use it every day), but I don't know that it really makes a difference in regards to c-section. 2. Wh...
