Re : Factor V

Hi Belle,

I'm sorry that I don't have any answers for you. You might want to post on the forum for underlying conditions. You might find more posters there with this condition.

Re : How long for body to recover?

<t>Hi Laura,<br/> <br/> Every pregnancy is so different. I had severe pre-e with my first pregnancy and I recovered pretty quickly (given everything that happened!) and was off bp meds within 2 weeks. This time, I "only" had gestational hypertension, but it took 6 weeks and a lot of meds to get my b...

Re : Preeclampsia and chronic hypertension

<t>Yes, a preconception consult is a great start. I also developed pre-e with my twin pregnancy. My OB did not necessarily think I needed a consult with MFM, but later changed her mind and referred me after my underlying conditions were discovered. While they could not prevent pre-e from recurring, ...

<t>Hi Bethers,<br/> <br/> Congrats on the birth of your DD. I'm glad to hear she is doing well. I'm sorry for your scary experience and past losses. You've come to the right place for support. I also was told by many people (friends and family) that I should not have another child after my experienc...

Re : Breastfeeding

<t>Supply issues are soooooo stressful! What kind of pump are you using? If you are using the PIS, make sure you are changing the membranes (little white things) every 2-3 weeks (they last longer for people that only occasionally pump, but not for exclusive pumpers). How many times per day are you p...

Re : RSV Shots today

Wow! WTG! Keep up the great work! My twins weren't that big until they were almost a year (and my DD is still not that much bigger at 2.5 years old!).

Re : OT evaluation tomorrow

Good luck, Kara. Shane has been diagnosed with a mild case (so far!) of SPD. Have you read the book The Out-of-Sync Child? I have not yet, but our EI person just told me that I might find it helpful. Hope the OT consult goes well and you are offered some good advice.

Re : Ongoing reflux - gastric fibroscopy?

<t>All 3 of my kids had/have severe reflux. It's so stressful and upsetting to see your little one in pain. Have you tried different meds? My twins did best on a Prevacid compound, but my youngest DD does best on the soultabs (and a much higher dose than the twins, which seems strange since she was ...
