During the year I was actively trying it was SUCH an emotional roller coaster- all those things you're thinking, wondering, worrying about. I'm so glad you're with a supportive spouse and are emotionally strong. Good luck!!

It's on the dvr, but I haven't watched it yet. I could tell from the previews that something bad was going down with her pregnancy, just not how it was going to happen. If its preeclampsia, isn't she a little early for that? she's barely showing.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to have another, but I imagine if I did I would be feeling the same way. I've heard others on this forum who have had a child after a loss express similar feelings. You're feeling all the joy and anticipation of this baby, but it kind of brings to the forefront agai...

I'm so so sorry that you had to deliver Miles so prematurely and that he wasn't able to stay. The same thing happened to me and my daughter Millie. All the best babies were born in 2010 . Millie's cry at birth was the only sound I ever heard from her too, how precious that memory is for us. Thinking of you and Henry today.

I think the point was probably to underline how tragic this disease can be- depriving that baby of her mother (and you of your sister, and me of my daughter.) Forever. I had nothing to do with formulating that story or that request for donations, but I see it less as "shilling" than as a desperate h...
