almost 37 weeks

Just venting but I was so worried about not making it to at least 34 1/2 weeks like my daughter. So it is ironic that now that I will be 37 weeks on Tuesday that I am ready for this all to be over and to have this baby now. Part of it is just the normal uncomfortable feeling of being this big and ti...

Re: Has anyone else gone through this?

I should have said this in my post above- but I needed to find time for just me. But I felt guilty if every moment was not spent on my daughter or husband or work and after going through HELLP it was overwhelming to me. It's not that I didn't want to be with my daughter or husband all the time, but ...

Re: At a Loss, please help!

I have no underlying disorders that they have found. But I talked with my doc about LDA, she didn't think it would harm the baby or me in any way so she was ok with me taking it. I took it from about week 6 and just ended at 36 weeks. I have no idea if it helped but I don't think it hurt me at all a...

Re: Has anyone else gone through this?

have you talked with a therapist? I struggled relating in many ways - not just sex- with my husband after the birth of my daughter. We were at point where we even talked about separating- even though we had been together for 15 years. And it wasn't because we didn't love each other anymore- we were ...

jules wondering if you they are discussing classical because of breech- my son is in traverse right now too and my doc said they might need to do classical instead of horizontal depending on what position he was in as it got closer.

Re: Heartburn

for me, eating at least 2 hours before I laid down to sleep helped alleviate some of that. I also found that certain foods like spaghetti sauce irritated me more- especially if I ate late in the date and I tried to stay away from those things.

Lingering effect of HELLP/PE after subsequent pregnancy

So after the first bout with HELLP, my BP went back to normal relatively quickly and I never had to be put on meds once I left the hospital. I never had any real lingering health issues. Now during this subsequent pregnancy, I have had sugar in my urine at least on 3 occassions that they have tested...

Re: No pressure, right? (so to speak)

Right there with you- c-section scheduled for Jan 4th but been having sugar (but no protein) in my urine and headaches. My BP is tracking higher but not high enough to deliver yet. I am hoping for same thing since I have a 2 1/2 year old at home. At least she only knows that x-mas is coming and not ...
