Re : Preemies weight at two years?

<t>It's just them. Keep watching HER curve. As long as she's active, hitting milestones, developing ok then I wouldn't worry about her actual weight. We were told that in the past they would force feed preemies to gain weight and that put them in high risk for diabetes, etc. Tara was just a little s...

Re : Update on us, for anyone who remembers me :)

<t>Hello. I'm also in Canada and wee were approved for the RSV shots with the twins (8 years ago so the process may have changed), but I think the criteria was preemie under 32 weeks and some type of supplemental oxygen needed within the last 6 months. If you've had the supplemental oxygen requireme...

Re : Do most subseq. pgs last 2 weeks longer?

<t>Hi Jean. I had early onset HELLP (28 weeks it was noted, 29 I delivered). I went 36 weeks with the next pregnancy and then wasn't delivered for pre-e but for low fluid. It was still a placeta issue but I wasn't sick during the second pregnancy. So technically that's 8 weeks longer. I think the st...

Re : Nervous about Baby's First Birthday

<t>Hi, your not alone. It is hard. There is no silver bullet to make it go away. It will get better. There, all that said, I also had similar with the twins. I was awake for the birth but was on mag sulfate and have odd memories of the delivery. I'm still not sure what I remember and what I have inc...

Re : Quick Update

Wow that's truly amazing. Huge babies! My last one was 6lbs at 36 weeks and didn't need any NICU time. Here's hoping that things go as smoothly as they can!

Re : Cardiologist

<t>Hi Laura. <br/> <br/> A stress test really has nothing to do with stress in the common sense of the word. Stress tests are meant to force your heart to work hard (that's the stress part) while being monitored to see how your heart responds. <br/> <br/> I'm just in the process of finishing lots of...

Re : Have a 2nd pg w/o HELLP, not changing anything?

<t>I had HELLP with my first at 28 weeks, delivered at 29 weeks(twins though) and successful 2nd pregnancy (36 weeks). I was monitored closely and did take baby aspirin with the 2nd which technically is a blood thinner but much easier to swallow than injections in my opinion. My last baby needed no ...

Re : Sex after Hellp

<t>we were in the very same situation as you - two difficult pregnancies, two successful outcomes, two very scared parents who did not want to play with fire any more. Hubby had a vasectomy and we used other methods until the results came back showing success. We did use condoms for a while after th...

Re : Adoption???!!

What a difficult situation you are in. Please give yourself some time. You don't have to make any decisions right now. In several months, please bring up the question again if you're still unsure about what to do.
