Hi all,
My name is Kim and I am new to your site. I am 32yrs old and have 3 daughters (almost 10 and twins 2). The reason I am posting is because I had HELLP with all of my girls but went undiagnosed with them. The second pregnancy with the twins nearly killed me and I am lucky to be alive.
I was wondering if anyone has any after affects from HELLP. I went to the dr yesterday to find out if I was pre-menopause and found out that my thyroid is about 3x's its normal size. My blood test came back with these results
1.98 T4
.02 THA (I don't really know what these mean)
When I spoke with the dr today she said it was a result of the HELLP that I had.
If anyone has any info please let me know. I have been having a hard time dealing with HELLP so if there is anyone else having these problems I would love to hear from you.
