Howdy everyone! Thank you so much for the support and warm wishes! Things have been busy as I keep carving out more time to run as the training runs get longer and longer. This weekend I topped out, though at 21 miles. I will start tapering off now to make sure I am well-rested before the starting cannon goes off on November 5th!

Fundraising is also going well as I have raised more than $6,200 so far. More than 475 people have received a letter with a request from me and so far, only 15% of them have responded; so I hope there are more donations to come soon. I will keep sending out friendly reminders and updates in the weeks ahead in order to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (for me!) to raise money for the Foundation and do whatever I can to help others avoid shockingly horrible losses!

Thanks for all the support!

WOW and You are amazing, Jill!! That is super fantastic! I've emailed the New York and New Jersey membership hoping to get as many members to the finish line as possible to keep rooting you on! I admire your strength and stamina to train like that as right now I am restricted by Asthma. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and you are doing a spectacular job!

Thank you so much for the incredible update and keep us informed!!! Sending you a Marathon HUG!! You deserve a spa day after all this!

I wish we could all be there to cheer you on. I'd probably want to stand at mile 21 and holler at you, just to try to give you an extra boost of energy! You're going to do great! We are so proud of you and completely honored that you would do this for us, our babies and our families. Hopefully, some of our members will come into the city to congratulate you when you cross that finish line!!!

GREETINGS FROM NEW YORK CITY!

It is race eve and I am both anxious and excited about tomorrow! Great appreciation goes out to all of you who have posted your words of support and appreciation for my project! Many, many thanks! Stay tuned for updates on race day and my efforts to raise awareness and money for the Foundation - I am dangerously close to the $10,000 mark and was fortunate to be invited to an interview with Runner's World magazine which I hope will help get the word out.
