Trivia Night / results :)
Everyone,
Thought I'd share the results from our Trivia Night.
It was FANTASTIC!!!
34 tables (8 people per table) of trivia players.
$350 from the bake sale.
The total for the first 50/50 drawing was $700, half of that going to the lucky winner. The winner donated back her winnings!
The second 50/50 drawing was $400, the winner keeping his half.
The team winning 1st place ($160) donated back their winnings, as their grandson was born at 24 weeks, their daughter-in-law suffering from pe.
The team winning 3rd place ($80) included Shelly's friend (fifty2resolutions.wordpress.com), and they donated back their winnings as well.
Add the $500 grant from Kohl's department store (Thanks A-Team!) and a few other contributions, the evening was a $4,600 success!
Our Walcott community and the Quad Cities come through AGAIN!
Our efforts will continue...
Thanks.
John
