Emailed our newspaper asking for a feature story..

We have a special addition in our paper once a month, called Scope. It is about health issues, and offers different info and q&a's. I did submit a question back in Feb and it got answered, so that was a public question about HELLP.

However, I decided to write the editor a letter asking for a feature about pg-complications/issues and a possible tie-in to Oct being Natl Perinatal Loss Month, and Nov 18 being Prematurity Awareness day. I offered up this website and national office phone # for more information. Will let you know if I hear anything.[:D]

Also, just for clarification, Prematurity Awareness Day this year is Nov 16th....not the 18th.

I may have lead you astray previously because I had misquoted it too. But, the MOD has it prominently on the first page of their website.

I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm thinking of contacting him again just to be sure he received my original email and what he thought of the idea. I think I will also contact the editor for the section of the lifestyle section in the Sunday paper. If I hear something, you can be sure I'd let you all know!![:D]
