This is fabulous! I'm sure you're in communication with Carol Hamilton about the process and the results so we can duplicate it elsewhere, but perhaps you could share a couple sentences here so others could start thinking about doing something similar. Include, of course, the effort you did or did not have to expend so we can try to evaluate it against other fundraisers like the restaurant gigs.

How the jeans day works:

A charity is chosen one Friday each month. On this Friday, associates can wear jeans if they donate $3 towards the charity. I had to advertise for the jeans day throughout my building. My building is pretty large, so one person from each floor and each wing collects money for their area. I had to go around to collect the money the following Monday and then my company will send the donation to the charity.

It didn't take too much of my time and it was very easy to do. I'm sure other companies do the same thing, because the last company I worked for did jeans day, also.
