What about Oprah?

What is the possibilty of trying to appear on the show? They have sections on their website that ask for show suggestions. The Oprah show seems like such a great way to get the word out since it has such a large female audience. She seems willing to donate to worthy causes. I'd love to see some of our ladies tell their stories, and I'd love to tell mine. What do you think? I'll be glad to help with this effort in any way possible! Let me know -

I know people from my HELLP syndrome support group recently wrote to Oprah, but I haven't heard anything yet as to the outcome of it. I'll keep you posted.

My mother actually sent a message to Oprah several years back about our family's experiences with preE.

At any rate, I don't think we should give up. . Maybe she'll (or her PR people) will get more interested now that there has been a little more coverage in the news lately.

That's too bad that we haven't gotten more response out of these people. (Oprah, etc) It's like one of my friends said from my HELLP support group that if a famous person came down with this, then it would instanteously become public knowledge and gain attention. Sucks, doesn't it?

Personally I am not an Oprah watcher...it comes on while I am at work. But I will send the e-mails with my story too.
