I think a minimum of 5...possibly 10. I'd purchase them for the fundraiser and then give them to friends/family. Depending on the timing, if I'm up and about, I may look into other ways to actually sell some, possibly increasing the total I could be responsible for up to 15 or 20 (thinking about my local group friends, like playgroup, other moms in the neighborhood, etc.).

The estimates that are coming in are very encouraging. Thank you! If you are new to this topic, please post your estimate! :)

RE timeframe: The cookbooks will take a couple months to put together, print, and distribute. They will not be ready by the walk-a-thon THIS year. We would love to sell this cookbook for years to come at all sorts of PF events.

RE: profit margins: There are several variables that have not been decided. We look forward to sharing our plan with everyone when the details are firm.

Many thanks! :)

I think I could do a few (5) personally, but I think our chapter could sell at least 20.

Wonderful idea! How much will go to the PF? I'll take 10 for sure, maybe more:)

Jill,
Is it possible to have the cookbook before the walk in May? We might try to sell them at the walk. If so, each location could purchase at least 10.

I could probably sell/give as gifts 10-20 easily. Let me know once they're ready.

Hi Jill -

You can count me in for 20 as well. I agree with Carol - they will make great gifts!

Maybe we can put an order request out at the walk-a-thon, even if the books aren't ready yet.

20 cookbooks, all right Carol!!

Timeframe: Having them done by May 7th is unlikely. Think summer.

However once its completed, we foresee this cookbook being available for years to come for all sorts of PF events! :)
