Well, the last few days have been interesting. Yesterday, I feel of my porch and twisted both my ankles, one they x-rayed because they thought it was broken. I am sore all over, but everything seems fine with the baby. Thank God! Well anyway, yesterday my blood pressure was 152/100 at my PCP. They rechecked it and they said it was fine. So today after my x-ray, I stopped in to see my OB. I was to go tomorrow and since I was close, I thought I would stop in the have it rechecked. It was 140/80. The midwife said that she would take that anyday, but with my history she is concerned. I lost 4 lbs. in 2 weeks and I am now measuring 39 weeks when I'm only 30. I have GD, but my sugars have been well controlled, so she's not sure why the measurement was so far off. But the real good news, my protien is now +2. So, I came home with a 24 hour protien study and a script for another Pre-E Profile. I told her that I'm still having the pain under my rib and she said that she will see what the new profile says, because the one I had 2 weeks ago was normal. She and I had a good laugh, because as she said "Let the Game begin!" She was with me the last time I was pregnant and she said that this is what your body does. So, I'm to prick my finger 4 times a day, give myself 2 shots a day and start checking my blood pressure 4 times a day. At this point do you gals think we are covering all the bases? Is there something else I should be doing? One more thing, the baby;s heart rate was 172. It was moving around like crazy, she seemed a little concerned. Does rapid fetal heart rate have anything to do with Pre-E?
