I have been reading all of the posts on this site and realize that you are all very knowledgable on this topic so I was hoping to get some answers to a few questions that I have. I am currently 39weeks 4 days pregnant (due on th 15th) and when I was at my dr's appt. yesterday we discovered that I had trace amounts of protein in my urine and my bp was 130/85. My dr. recommended that I take it easy and rest and to watch for signs of preeclampsia (blurred vision, headaches, sudden swellen etc). I have had normal bp throughout my pregnancy but tons of swelling. I am worried that I will not be able to tell if this gets worse over the next week. I am not seeing my dr. again until next Thursday. I was wondering if you could all tell me what I should/shouldn't be doing. Also, what is trace amounts of urine - would that be like a +1 or something? I do have a home bp monitor although it is very unreliable since I keep getting different reading ever time I use it. The only real symptom that I think I have had is nausea. Earlier this week I had major nausea after dinner...although no vomitting but very close. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Oh also, would a rise in bp cause labour to start?
Thanks so much for your help,
Amy
