Its great that your prone BP's are dropping, its a sign that bedrest could be very helpful in extending your pregnancy =)

I had similiar problems in my first pregnancy, upright I was 140/98 down 120/60-70. All my labs were always perfect and my urine tests fine, just the crazy BP and all the other symptomns of PE.

Sounds good the labs are ok. Let us know about the 24 hour urine. You might suggest bedrest to the doc!

Called my OB, she had me come in. My BP was 150/90. She sent me to L&D for labs and my 24 hour urine. Labs came back fine. So they sent me home for the duration of my urine test. Still swelled and constant headaches. UGHH! She wants me in her office Thurs to go over the tests and retake my BP. My intuition tells me BEDREST. The whole time I am in the hospital my BP was 120/70's. Of course laying down or semi upright position.

Sherry,

So glad you'll be able to speak with your doctor tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

In my case, the abdomen pain did come and go slightly: I first felt it around 11am, it came on suddenly and severely. I called my OB right away but, by the time she called back (about an hour) it had subsided into a dull ache. It continued to ache until around 5 and then came back in full force. It stayed that way until I left L&D and the ER (with a diagnosis of possible heartburn or gallstones...) around midnight. It was just a dull ache the next morning when I was admitted into the hospital and then I never felt it again. I have heard other people say the exact opposite though so, maybe it's different for everyone?

Thinking of you,

I actually have not went to the hospital. THis weekend I have been taking it easy and doing alot of 'left side' relaxing! We did notice last night that my face was getting puffy. Today my hands, face and legs are that way. So, I have developed lots of swelling. The edema should be an easy one to pinpoint as I have lost 5 pounds throughout the pregnancy and not gained any. So, any weigh gain HAS to be from edema. I AM CALLING as soon as the office opens in the AM. Requesting a 24 hour urine and PE panel. I have been having some freaky dreams lately, but last night I had a 'dream' that I was having upper mid pain. I am not sure if I actually was having the pain for a short bit and could not wake up or if it was really a dream. Sounds kinda silly, I know. .:) Does the upper quad pain go away at all or is it consistant??

Regardless, I am starting to get more and more scared. Along with family telling me that I am not going to make it full term, they are not helping!

I will keep you all posted on what happens after I call.

I'm a little late on this, so I hope you've already gone to L&D and gotten things checked out! Good luck! Sounds like you could use a little bedrest with all that's been going on around there![:p]

I agree, too. Time to round up those numbers and go to the hospital.

Sherry,

I would agree with Suzanna, I think 154/99 will win you a trip to L&D...

It's times like this when I wished we all lived close so that we could help with the kids.

Please take care and update us after you talk with the doctor.

Sherry,
I would say that the reading you got is pretty darn close. I wouldn't fool around with such a specific number! Please call and make sure they hear what you need. I can remember that I would have the "swishing" sound too when my bps were high. The nausea makes me worry for you too. I would call -

Let me know what happens.
Hugs,
Suzanna
