Are OBs/PERIs less likely to treat labile pressure that ranges from 120/75 to 197/97 or 166/127?
Is their a medical reason for not treating?
How long does pressure have to be up before it can cause damage?
What does the NIH recommend for labile pressure in pregnancy?
What does the pre e org recommend for labile pressure?

I have these questions too! My pressure has been very labile for more than 4 weeks. Ranging from 108/70 to 145/90. My OB isn't treating me yet b/c it keeps going so low, but I see a Peri soon to get another opinion. Hopefully, someone here will have some insight... [:)]

Hi Amanda. I have been looking on line for info on Labile pressures but cannot find much. I am finding my highs are getting higher and go up with the simplest tasks.

Jen, as you can tell, I'm as much in the dark as you are, but if I were you (upper readings going up), I would probably expect a PIH diagnosis soon.

But I also saw your other post about hellp. I didn't develop that so I don't know much about it. I get a lot of pain in my rib cage and shoulders even when I'm not pg. I think my body doesn't get rid of extra gas very well or something.

Maybe you said and I missed it... When is your next appt?? If you don't have one soon, you should call and at least tell a nurse your new symptoms. My OB always wants me to call even if it is the smallest thing.

Let us know what happens!
