It took me a while to be able to concieve, but was
very successful the first time with IUI. What is
PCOS? I would do the IUI again, but would never do
IVF since they say that IVF ups your chances of getting
PE. (I am sure I already have enough risks without
having to further add to the equation).

Question of the Day: PE and infertility

Postby laura » Mon Jan 26, 2004 08:27 am

Ok- a recent question (and answer by akemt) has me wondering just how many of us had to try to conceive for a year before getting pregnant.

The link between PCOS/insulin resistance and the later development of pe has been established and is being explored, and clotting disorders that so many of us have can also impede the process- so:

Question: How long did it take you to conceive for each pregnancy? Were you treated for infertility? What finally made it 'work'? Would you do it again?

DH Jack-31
Alicia 5-13-98 (35 weeks-severe PE)
Camille 4-17-03 (36 weeks- htn and oligo)
