So glad to hear this! I have cared for 3 babies in the last 2 months alone that have had PPHN and it can be a very grueling thing for a baby to go through...they are quite sick. GLAD to hear there is no PPHN for him and hope his road to recovery is fast and he's home soon!

Congratulations and try not to worry too much about the heart murmur, even though it sounds scary. Many infants, even term babies with no PE pregnancies,can have innocent murmurs. There are also many types of common structural murmurs that create very few life complications. I have mitral valve prolapse (leaky valve) and the only thing I have needed over 40 years is to take antibiotics before going to the dentist. Its also common in 5% of the population most of whom never know they have it until a doctor picks up on it and tells them.

What a great thing to hear!! I am so glad that things have changed for the better. Keeping my thoughts with you and praying that it is all uphill for Mr Drake.
