I woke up this morning with a huge bruise on my left knee. I have no idea where it came from - I don't remember wacking my knee that hard. But I always have bruises on me and I am very fair skinned, so I think it shows up more too on me. Maybe as the other ladies have recommended, get it checked out.

Yes...I noticed the brusing much more easily shortly after my pregnancies and before I started the baby asprin.

Now, it looks like I'll be taking the baby asprin doctor told me she can always see the baby asprin takers coming...they have the marks to show it.

Bruising on my legs and arms I've just come to accept.

You're not alone!

I've always bruised easier so no difference. And it's worse now that I'm on the baby aspirin. I agree on checking with your doc.

I do not bruise any easier. If you are getting such large bruises from a tap it would be worth it to ask your dr. about it.

I have noticed everything makes me bruise. I also had severe bleeding from a biopsy which ended in hysterectomy (and several transfusions) with no definate disease. I still bruise easily, 3 years later. Have you had any hematology consultations?

Question for all you PE survivors

Postby miracle3 » Thu Aug 09, 2007 11:29 am

Have you noticed that you bruise easier after having PE and or HELLP? The weeks leading up to Lindseys birth I began to notice that I was bruising very easily. It has been a little over 2 years since I delivered Lindsey and I still notice that I bruise extremely easy. I suffered from both HELLP and Preeclampsia during that pregnancy. I wanted to see if you any of you have experienced the same thing.

Just to give an example my son barely tapped me on my arm the other day and I have a bruise the size of 2 50 cent peices on my arm. [:0]
