Hello and welcome,

Visual disturbances plus vomiting and rising BP wins you a trip to L&D in my non-medical opinion.

Good luck - I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

veggiepatch, I would err on the side of caution and go to labor & delivery, or call your OB and report your sympotms at the very least. A thorough evaluation and a blood draw is in order. Take care and please post back.

I started with the vomiting each night around 29 weeks for about 3 weeks and then it stopped. I hadn't had that before and this is my 5th pregnancy.

You should absolutely either call in or go to L&D to be checked out. I had hyperemesis (extreme nausea/vomiting) for all of my pregnancy, however, after 2 weeks of not puking, it started again and that prompted my doc to check for PE.

Take Care,

Should I report these symptoms

Postby veggiepatch » Tue Oct 06, 637998 8:11 pm

I'm currently 30 weeks with my 5th pregnancy (3 living children) and have recently begun experiencing some symptoms that concern me.

A few high BP readings (24 and 28weeks visits diastolic 80-85 with baseline of 70), visual disturbances similar to migraine aura including floaters and "squiggles" in left side of vision field and transient runs of tachycardia (104 - 116 bpm). I'm also experiencing a sudden recurrence of the nausea / vomiting I experienced in early pregnancy.

Should I report these symptoms immediately or just wait until next visit is scheduled 10 days from now?

Thanks,
Veggiepatch
