So glad to read this new update! I had read that people with HELLP usually are worse after delivery for around 48 hours and then seem to turn a corner. Your friend seems to be ahead of schedule!

I'm glad she got to hold the baby already and hope she continues to recover from what I'm sure was quite a traumatic experience. As we all know, her body will heal much sooner than her emotions.

Will continue to pray for a quick recovery for her and the baby!

Oh no, Kara. So sad to see this. Hope your friend improves and the little guy hangs in there. I will see what I have for boy preemie stuff. I have mostly pink outfits, I think.

I'll be thinking of her! That's what happened to me, too, and it was a good week before my platelets started to recover; liver and kidney took at least two months. But we're fine now.
