*Raising Hand* I did develop HELLP. It was early stage, but I was going there quick. Delivery stopped it cold. Baby was not doing well and heart rate was dropping. We delivered by Emergency C at 27 weeks, but he wasn't ready to be with us yet. Home to Jesus on Jan 18th, 2004. I had a major placental abrubtion at approx 15 weeks, and then things just didn't go well from there. The high BP started at about 25 weeks, and it just went out of control very quickly.

Mom to Tyler (9) and William (in Jesus' arms at 27 weeks. 01/18/04 - Severe placental abruption at 15 weeks followed by severe PE and HELLP at 27 weeks. Delivery by emergency c-section)

OB visit at 28 weeks showed no probs, except blood pressure a little high at 130/80. He said it was white coat syndrome. I had been gaining .5 pound everyday since 24 weeks and when hospitalized with epigastric pain & diagnosed with PE & HELLP at 29 weeks, BP was 200/90. 3 days later baby boy was born 2 lb 2.5 ounces, was SGA but thankfully OK.

Mommy to baby boy Adam, born at 30 weeks 1 day because of preeclampsia. IUGR 988 grams birth weight. At 5 months, he is 10 pounds and 11 ounces, a cheery and social baby, much to the continual gratefulness of his parents.
