How old were you for your first/second pregnacy? 17/18

Did you get PE the second time? mildly was put on bedrest and made it to 37 weeks

How many weeks did you make it? 37

How long between pregnancies?? a couple of months

How old were you for your first/second/third/fourth pregnacy? 32, 34, 35...36 now and pregnant with my fourth.

Did you get PE the second time? Not with my third or second...will have to see if I get it with my fourth.

How many weeks did you make it? In all 3 cases, to 38 weeks, 0 days. I developped preE in my first pregnancy very rapidly and severely at the end of my 37th week. My son was delivered my c-section and he had meconium in my amniotic fluid. My other 2 pregnancies were at 38 weeks, 0 days, due to scheduled c-sections.

How long between pregnancies?? My kids are 14-months apart, 20-months apart, and if all goes well, this fourth pregnancy will be 12-months apart.

1st pregnancy - 29
2nd pregnancy - 33

I did NOT get pre-e the second time, did have GD though..

1st - 37 weeks induced
2nd - 37.6 weeks induced

About three and a half years between pregnancies..

I think going and talking to a specialist is the best thing you can do. With my second pregnancy I saw a specialist for ultrasounds who specifically dealt with high blood pressure in pregnancy ( I am chronic). Sure it is still nerve wracking the second time around but I felt much better knowing that the Dr's were keeping a closer eye on me this time around. I had weekly NST at the end as well as regular ultrasounds, I feel they did keep on top of things. Best of luck!

I am 38 now and am trying to get DH to go to peri with me now so we can fix anything we need to before starting to try next summer. We have 5 frozen embies and I really want a sibling for Luke. My bp was never really controlled during pregnancy. I did not see I high risk OB. I never even had mag sulfate until after delivery. I was admitted and released after 3 days and went back 2 days later and delivered Luke at 31 weeks. I am suprised the only thing they added was procardia. I was on the highest of labetalol they could give. The nurses kept saying this has to be wrong.. we never give anyone a dose that high. I think I need I high risk specialist next time....I gained 30 pounds in the 2 days they sent me home. NO KIDDING!!! I was 36 when Luke was born. so it has been 2 years...

My BP did go completely bonkers for all pregnancies because I'm chronic.

2nd - 37
3rd - 38
1st was a schedule c/s, 2 and 3 went into labour naturally

How long between pregnancies??
28 months between birth of #1 and pregnancy of #2
21 months between birth of #2 and pregnancy of #3

I totally agree with the others; meeting with a specialist was *the* best thing I did. It doesn't mean you're definitely going to take the leap, but *if* you do, you'll have a better understanding of what you may be facing.

1st pgcy I had no bp issues until my 33 wk appt, I was admitted for a 24 hour urine and PE was diagnosed. I was induced at 37 weeks for worsening symptoms.

2nd pgcy I started having bp issues around 19-20 wks. Official PE diagnosis came at 31 weeks and I got sicker and sicker until delivery was warranted at 33 weeks.

I was 34 with 1st & 35 with 2nd & no PE with my 2nd and they are only 17 months apart. 37 weeks with #1 ad 38 with #2.
My 3rd though PE started earlier and we eeked it out until 36 weeks but I've had lots of PE related issues since then. But it was worth it!!!
