Thank you! I know it's really hard on the entire family, not just me. I just pray that we have a happy healthy baby. I keep telling myself that in the big scheme of things a month in the hospital is not a big deal.

Hi Aimy. I hope your ok. In my 1st pregnancy when i was suddenly disgnosed with PE, staying in hospital was hard. The doctors wouldnt tell me anything at that point however even when they did explain a few things it was all medical jargon to me lol. At that time i didnt realise how serious i was. I cant sleep wihtout my hubby by my side and i need to have my routine "blah blah" chats with him before going to sleep but when staying in hospital i missed all that, i really missed him and cried all night for him. Staying in hospital for observation is difficult and boring. Difficult because your away from your loved ones and boring because there is absoloutely nothing to do HOWEVER honey you are in the best place for yourself and Brody. I had PE in my 2nd preg too and when i got admitted in hospital at 31 weeks i somehow enjoyed the stay because i knew i was somewhat safe. I still missed my hubby and my son though and i cried alot for them but i had a duty to lookafter my little baby inside me too. PE is such a horid thing that robs us of our happy pregnancies but knowledge is the key- the more you know about PE the more stronger and confident you get to conquer Pre-eclampsia.
Im going through a difficult period right now as i really want a 3rd baby. Ive done all the research i can do and have my 1st appointment with a PE Specialist on the 28th June so im really looking forward to that.
Let us know how you get on hon, youve defo come to the right place for advice and support. MWAH!

MFM was in this morning. She said that everything looks good to her and they are considering me as "mild" Pre-e. She said it would be up to my OB weather i get to go home or not. There is a Dr from another practice covering for my OB for the weekend. He said he is not comfortable sending me home while my pressures are still a little elevated. I will see someone from my practice tomorrow. Maybe they will have a different opinion. I HOPE!!!

My husband just left again...i made him cry because i was crying......OH MY this is hard.

Awesome. I've heard of this happening before. I'm sure that other ladies can chime in about it & explain it more. Have you seen your MFM again?

Oh well that stinks (in a situation like that ). Are you at a hospital that is making this a bit easier on you? Mine was pretty decent. There was a concierge where you get dvds for your room and stuff like that. The food was also pretty good, and I could pick up my phone and order off of a big menu. Yes, its the little things, lol. Plus, there is this forum! :0) You're doing great; Brody is totally worth it, and what an awesome mom for going through all of this for him!

he has his own business so he doesn't qualify for FMLA, since i'm not working now....although i do have short term disability and am receiving some pay......he really needs to be there. We live a little over an hour from the hospital i am in. He will be here as much as he can but you are right it is hard. i will make it though.
