I have lost EVERY pregnancy
Do you mean that you got pre-e every pg? You and your kids were ok in the long run though right?
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!

maybe she meant, lost weight. I was confused too...

Noah born 2.1.12 @ 38 weeks thanks to lots of doctors visits, LDA, Lovenox and no preeclampsia!

I meant I lost WEIGHT with every pregnancy and still ended up w/ PE. So sorry about the confusing wording, I was rushing before my laptop battery died :oops:

yes, I am one of the lucky ones where my pregnancies (so far) have ended in happy healthy babies.

Seems like weight gain/starting weight is just another big variable... it could matter, but it could not matter... I like when I can figure stuff out so much better then things being such a mystery!! Drives me crazyyyy.

I so understand that statement. I say if keep up what you are doing until you get that BFP, then reassess. Continue your healthy eating and activity, but maybe at a little lesser degree (depending on you and your body). You don't want to actively try to restrict weight gain or lose weight while you are pregnant (I personally don't agree with telling ANY pregnant woman, PE-prone or not to restrict weight gain). With PE we have enough growth problems for baby, we don't need to take away nutrients on purpose!

Good luck with TTC, I hope it is a shorter journey for you this time.

I was a 120lb gymnast when I got pregnant and got severe PE/hellp. I was 145 when I got pregnant the second time and still got PE. I was 160's the 3rd time and the worst pregnancy and 200 the 4th and .....still got PE. Def worse my first go around when I was the smallest/healthiest. After my 3rd I've been chronic.

1st time and my skinniest 37 weeks (severe pe/hellp)
2nd time 36 weeks ( mild pe)
3rd time 37 weeks ( severe pe minus enough protein/eclampsia)
4th time 35 weeks ( severe pe)
