First time, less than 48 hours from diagnosis to delivery at 35+2. There were warning signs as early as 30 weeks, but my OB ignored them until things were critical. I had severe PE with CNS involvement, borderline HELLP. DD1 was mildy IUGR.
Second time, also less than 48 hours from diagnosis to delivery at 37 even. Again, there were warning signs at 32 weeks, but my new OB monitored me closely. As soon as I crossed the line to mild PE, we decided not to mess around since I was so close to term. DD2 was also mildy IUGR.
Third time (with twins!), it was 14 weeks from diagnosis to delivery. I had PIH at 22 weeks, mild PE at 31 weeks, hospitalized with concerning symptoms at 33 weeks, induced at 36 weeks. The whole time, I was a very slow progresser and stayed pretty stable. Then two hours after delivery, I slipped into a coma with severe post partum PE. We literally pushed that pregnancy as far as it could go. The twins were NOT IUGR.
So a wide range of experiences just from me. (All 5 of us are doing great today.)
