Slow vs Fast Progressions?

I wondered if there was any research regarding why some progressions of pre-e are so fast, while others are so slow... are there any protective factors or does it suggest different etiologies?

I am so thankful that once again we are having a slow, almost standstill progression, at the same time I can't help but wonder why and how we got so lucky... as well as feel a bit of 'slow progression' guilt while others are only given days or even just hours between diagnosis and delivery.

Thanks in advance- the more I understand the less anxious I feel.

I hope mine continues to be slow going as well. I am just now 29 weeks today. Ultimate goal of 35 weeks. Last pregnancy I delivered 10 hours after diagnosis. This time I have already made it 2 weeks and praying for 6 more!!!!!

That's so awesome to hear! I will keep crossables crossed those 6 weeks are completely uneventful. Such a curious condition to show up so differently, even with the same person- wish there was more known about it.
