35 weeks. Thoughts?

Hello all,

I have had preeclampsia with two previous pregnancies. I just got results from a 24 hr urine test come back at 210 at 35 weeks. It was at 120 at 30 weeks. Do you think it is safe to assume I should preeclampsia is just around the corner? With my daughter I has a c-section at 37 weeks. You think I should prepare for another 37 week delivery? Thanks!

How is your blood pressure? I think it is always a good idea to prepare for a 37 week birth. I never met the diagnostic criteria of 300 of protein with my daughter...and they still induced at 37 weeks.

For once my Bp is looking great. But only at home. In office it gets up to 150' s /90's. At home it's about 100/58 average. I have white coat syndrome something fierce. But at home it is always superb. I wish my doc would just schedule a 37 week delivery but it is against hospital policy to schedule before 39 weeks. So I'm going through this blind. I am just worried about the protein creep up.

What have your doctors said about the increase of protein? But as you said yourself you are below diagnostic criteria and your BP seems to be fine. I am sure though that this increase will make your doctors watch you very closely.

The 39 week policy is based on a healthy pregnancy. Any hypertensive condition warrants a 37 week delivery. I don't know the exact names of the policies but I have read them (they are posted in my doctor's office).
