How long did you wait to TTC after loss, classical incision

I gave birth on August 1st, 2011 for the first time.
They did a classical incision.
I suffered severe pre-eclampsia and have a fibroid.

One doctor told me to wait 2 years to TTC. The other told me a year and half would be okay. I have yet to speak with a specialist on how much my body has healed in the past year but i feel very strong.

My question is, for those of you who had a similar experience, how long did you wait to try again?

I had a classical section as well and my doctors said 9 months to 1 year. Emotionally I felt ready after one year, which is when we started TTC. It took about a year to get pregnant, but now at almost 33 weeks there are no issues related to my previous c-section. It will be a repeat section though at 37 weeks.
2 years seems a bit long in my view, but I am no doc. So getting another opinion is probably a good idea.

One doctor, my OB, said 3 months. My MFM said 6 months and another MFM I met with was okay with 6 months as well.

It ended up taking nearly a year (c-section/loss was Sept.28, 2009, got positive pregnancy test with DS around Sept. 11th 2010.) When my OB did my c-section to deliver my son, she was really really pleased with how well my classical incision had healed. (As long as you make it past 28-29 weeks, they typically try to do a regular c-section incision and leave the higher risk classical incision alone.)

We waited 2 years after our classical csection. Let me say though that we had a 4 month nicu stay and then lost our baby, so if it were just the physical healing part id have tried in a year. We had alot of emotional healing and needed more time. I had one doc tell me to wait 6 months, one 8 months and one said a year. Ugh confusing! I see most women try again within the one year mark.
