Hope this email finds you well.
I am so desperately in need of help, hope someone can advise:
I am new in MD,silver Spring.
Am 27 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and have had severe preeclampsia in my past pregnancies, lost one due to severe PE at 24 weeks, had one beautiful girl at 29 weeks 3 years ago .
Am currently on Medicaid and was wondering if you know of any doctor (high risk pregnancy) that accepts Medicaid. due to serious financial issues, i no longer have a primary doctor...

I am on 2405431162, feel free to call.

Many thanks

Lily

Lily, congratulations on your pregnancy. I am very sorry you lost your baby due to pre-eclampsia. Here is a link to a website that may help you find an OB, check Medicaid for insurance provider, enter your specific location, and see what comes up. Once you have an OB, he or she should be able to help you find the high risk specialist. http://www.docspot.com/d/MD/white-marsh ... icaid.html

Also try the teaching hospitals like University of Maryland or Howard. They may be more likely to take Medicaid than a private practice. I hope this pregnancy goes well and you can follow someone to care for you soon.
Mom to one amazing toddler girl, delivered at 28 weeks due to severe HELLP.

Lily,

I'm so sorry for the loss of your child and that you have faced difficult pregnancies. You can search for MFMs in your area here, https://www.smfm.org/members/search. I second the thoughts from Mari2013. I can't speak to how recent or useful this will be, but I also found this listing specific to medicaid providers in your area http://www.amerihealthdc.com/pdf/med-prov-directory.pdf

Keep posted as you're able.
