I hope your body continues to heal and that you start feeling better very soon. I totally empathize about the fussy baby and lack of sleep! Please continue to let us know how you are doing.

That's an interesting fact. I never knew that.

Yep, pregnancy can raise your cholesterol levels. Did you have issues with it prior to becoming pg? I hope this new level of meds works for you and gets that bp down. Keep us posted.

I too have heard to wait way beyond pregnancy to get your cholesterol checked because it goes up during pregnancy. Good luck to you.

Cholesterol is high during pregnancy and also while nursing a baby. I got an outrageously high cholesterol number and after doing some research found it is better to wait awhile after pregnancy or when you are done nursing your baby before having it tested.

Well blood pressure is still high 2 months PP. All blood work came back negative except for my cholesteral it's high. [V] The ultrasounds of my kidney were also good and normal.

She thinks my body went into shock during the pregnancy and still hasn't been able to get back to normal. She expects me to get better but she did increase my med's again. I still cannot go on birth control she thinks it is too risky and can raise my pressure. The headaches are from the pressures and probably from not sleeping. I've got a fussy baby!!
