I was crying at the end of the show too. That was just soooo sad.

I have been so addicted to House since I watched the first episode! I usualy love medical dramas, but it was impossible for me to get into the ones they have come out with in the past few years. I tried ER and Chicago Hope, along with Scrubs, Nip/Tuck and others and never really liked them. House was just so...cool!
However, last nights episode brought back so many tears for my husband and I (and he normaly never watches the show with me). We were bawling at the end where they showed the the father with his baby and the 'happy couple.' I normaly don't have that kind of a reaction to shows...but I guess this time it was still too real.

Yes, I saw House, too. Though, I figured in the end it wouldn't be pre-eclampsia. Since she was pg and had kidney and brain problems, pre-eclampsia would be too obvious and that show is never the diagnosis you would think it would be!

Anyway, it is a great show and I was crying at the end. It brings back memories and I think how lucky my husband and I were!

Oh, and the woman was diagnosed with a very aggressive lung cancer. Her body was attacking her good cells in her liver, brain, kidneys, and eye lids, which is a sign of this type of lung cancer.

I love the fact that he is honest and doesn't bs about anything. I always tell Tom that if more doctors were like that than maybe we might get closer to finding some answers to pe and hellp. (A girl can be hopeful, can't she??)

Gotta love HOUSE. Funny, I was speaking about this show the other night when my work took me out for a good bye dinner. I told the ER Doctors they should be more like Dr. House.

I remember that ER episode, and that was a good 5 years before I even thought about having a baby. That woman died, as did the woman on House last night, and both times I bawled like a baby!

Wow Kris, I can imagine how scared and worried your mother and sister were to know you developed the same condition the woman on the show died from.

I did hear them say "we are putting her on mag in case it is PE"...well, that was a good sign.

Speaking of medical shows and PE. The day that I delivered Tyler, back in 1995, the show ER had an episode on about PE (the "patient" wound up dying)..my mother, sister, and my anestesiologist (sp?) were both watching it right before I was rushed to the real ER. I was THE talk of the hospital for many reasons.
