I am thinking of doing a ballon release where we also write letters to Isaiah. We will do this at the beach, even though it is winter here (brrr!) I am also going to ask my DH what he wants to do.

Yes, Anika is upside-down.[;)]

I'll probably take DH out to dinner; it's hard to know ahead of time whether we'll both be in the mood to celebrate.

Carol,

It' so hard to know what the day will bring on feelings. A lot of people are always concerned about the Mom's so I think the same should hold true for the fathers...

Since Father Day is getting closer just wondering how our Dad's are doing?.. What are you doing for father's day?...

Sometimes, men can seem as if they aren't affected as much as the mother but deep down they hurt just as bad as we do... Rememeber to tell them Happy Father's Day as they are a Father no matter what!!!

Sending you all hugs and love

One can always make a donation to the PF in honor of the man who managed to be a rock when the ground fell out from under him during your own traumatic experience(s). I will make a special effort to get those cards sent out by Father's Day. https://fp7.adhost.com/preeclampsia/donate.cfm

I had a special portrait done with my son (4) and Faith (www.portraitsbydana.com , she did a wonderful job). We had no pictures of them together and none of her without all the tubes, etc. before she passed. I am so excited to show him!!!

Hope all the fathers have a peaceful day.

Jill, what an incredible idea! I'd love to see that portrait of your babies, too!

Jill,

That's wonderful!... I have a picture of Drew & Kyle holding Katlyne right after she passed away. It's one picture that I love and is on Katlyne's gravestone....
