I got a phone call from the Medical Board of Exami

I officially made a complaint against my original OB-Gyn. I got a phone call today from the medical examiners office. They told me they will be sending a letter to the doctor and he has 14 days to respond.

She then said "If an investigation is started, and it looks to me there will be, you will get a letter in the mail with your investigators name."

You cannot even begin to understand how thrilled I was to hear there will probably be an investigation started. I've gotten good news from the lawyer I consulted, and now to hear this. To think my daughter's death might be vindicated and she might be able to help other mama's make sure this doesn't happen to them.

I know his license won't be taken away or anything like that, but if somebody does their research, I want there to be a black mark by his name that might give them pause.

Anyway, please come celebrate with me.

Medical Board investigations has to be done each time there is a complaint. This also can be a VERY stressful time as they will be contacting you and asking many many different questions.
