My heart breaks for you. Many of us here have lost babies and it so incredibly hard for each and every one of us. I hate that you have to go through this too. I wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time! I hope you will find some comfort here and ideas to honor the memory of your precious Sophie.

Sarah - I am so sorry to hear about little Sophie. My daughter Amelia died at 22 weeks earlier this year. I had symptoms that I didn't understand at the time - swelling, headaches, a general feeling of being unwell, less movement from the baby - but I too felt the doctors ignored me and just assumed everything was fine. I will keep you and your precious daugher in my prayers.

Sarah, I am so sorry for you having to say goodbye to Sophie. Just like you I have lost my son at just 28 weeks due to preeclampsia and during the whole pregnancy I never felt sick, just extremely swollen. It is incredibly heartbreaking to hold your child once and watch the life drain out of a beautiful, perfect looking baby. My heart goes out to you and your family. I hope you find comfort and peace here knowing that others truely care and know what you are going through. God bless.

Oh, Sarah...I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet little Sophie. I'm glad you found this website; hopefully it will help you to make sense of what happened. I lost my daughter two months ago; she was born at 24 weeks and wasn't able to fight off the complications she developed due to her extreme prematurity.

I wish you peace at this very sad time. (((hugs)))

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious daughter Sophie. Please accept my sincerest condolences. There are no words to say that could ever ease the pain and the heartache that you are now feeling.

I hope you can get some answers when you go for your appt on nov 3rd. I find it hard to comprehend that your doc dismissed some of your symptoms. Perhaps some of the others will weigh in here too, in this regard.

wishing you comfort at this very difficult time
