Re : Second time around
I'd be interested in a local group.
I'm 28 weeks now, and tired all the time. I'm looking forward to being off work at the end of the month! My doctor is putting me on medical leave, so it won't cut into my maternity/parental leave (you can get up to 15 weeks 'sickness' benefits before starting mat leave).
Take care,
Sarah

Re : Second time around
I was just chatting with my long term boss (quite an understanding boss) He also asked me when will I be on leave. I told him that I want the baby to stay in as long as baby could before due date (sep 17, 2006) (coz I had my first one when she was only 8 1/2 months) so I wouldn't know when I would take maternity leave. He said: I'd like you to stay as long as you can before maternity......Nice...:)
coz that means more income for me.....

Hi Doris. I'm also from Vancouver (live in Port Moody), and am at 27 weeks (due date Sept 11).
I'm glad your doctors are keeping a close eye on you, and hopefully you'll make it to term this time! Remember, its NOT YOUR FAULT!

Re : Second time around
Hi, all:
I am a newbie from Vancouver, BC
3 1/2 yrs ago I had PE at 34 weeks and then, was sent to hospital right away.... Then, constant care by the hospital staff and few days later, was told to have to give birth right away, then, due to baby was not head down (of course, coz it wasn't time yet) so, they did Epidural and C-section ......my daughter was born 4lb.
She's doing great right now....^_^
Now I am pregnant again 25 weeks.....
High blood pressure symptoms are showing earlier than previous pregnancy, and MFM doc diagnosed that I will be in the highest category of having preeclampsia this time... so, started May 1st, specialists (MFM & Internal medicine doc) started me up with blood pressure medicine coz my blood pressure is high again.... :(
So, I've been doing regular checkups with doctors and regular (eevery 2-3 weeks) for ultrasound to checkup on baby's growth....
really hope this time around the baby can stay in longer and weigh more....
a lot of times I really blame myself for causing babies trouble..... :(
ps, I enjoy reading your posts. ^_^
