Just wanted to echo what Wendy said. I know 2 people who thought they couldn't have children and ended up adopting and getting pregnant. First couple adopted a little boy after years of infertility and when he was 4 they got pregnant..she didn't find out til she was close to 7 mos (she's on the hefty side and always had odd cycles and didn't find it odd that her period was missing as it had done it before)...The other couple delivered their son about a month after they got their daughter from China! The girl they adopted was 9 mos when they got her so the kids are obviously very close in age.
