Good News

Hi ALL - just sharing the good news - and, of course looking for support[:I] We got a positive last night - so that puts me at about 4 weeks. DUe in July - and I intend to make it that far this time. Yes, I am nervous, but mostly about telling people. I have seen this in discussion before, but it is so real now. Anyway, I have a dr. appt tomorrow - any thoughts?? Gee, I remember how carefree this stage of my last pregnancy was - hopefully I will relax and enjoy this one.

Thanks everyone. The dr. appt went great. EDD is July 15, but due to vertical c-section scar, I will be scheduled for week 39ish. We will meet the peri in a few weeks. i have several friends who are ob nurses and they have all told me that people come from other states to see this peri! Wow! My bp has been lower than usual - hmm? Guess it's just all this good karma.

Congratulations to you -- I also recently found out I was pregnant with number 2 -- also due in July (7/2). I notice our first children also share similar birthdays (My son Evan will be 2 on 12/9). Although I made it to 37 weeks last time, my hypertension never went away after delivery, so we are cautiously optimistic about this one! Hopefully we will both have healthy JULY deliveries with no severe complications!

Well I should jump in here too. I too am pregnant with #2, due July 6. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. The first appointment was great, we saw the hearbeat and my bp was great. Here's hoping for lots of July babies!
