33 weeks, things are different this time

Postby lillysmama » Sat Nov 15, 2003 07:39 pm

I've made it to 33 weeks and am doing pretty good. The only issue I'm having is protein and it is very strange. With my first pregnancy I didn't have any protein until right before I delivered at 36 1/2 wks, my blood pressure was the main problem. This time it's been the exact oposite. My blood pressure goes up to the high 130's over high 80's if I'm active, but just siting it's really good. I've had protein spilling from the beginning though. Looking at the chart in my dr's office, I see at least trace from every visit. We're doing the second 24 hour test this weekend, my first was ok. I'm starting to get pretty puffy so they want to check it again.

Any ideas on why I would always have some protein spilling? I don't have an infection or any major discharge. It's so wierd to have things the exact oposite of what they were before. At least I've made it this far with such good blood pressure. If the 24 hour test is the same, I might get my wish and make it until after Christmas!
