Delivering Tomorrow
Re : Delivering Tomorrow
Best of luck to you Susan! I hope to hear good news soon!
Re : Delivering Tomorrow
I'll be sending you and baby warm thoughts and prayers.
Re : Delivering Tomorrow
Hi Good luck tomorrow. I had a 27 wkr and a 34 wkr. My 34 wkr spent about 2.5 wks in a special care nursery, not a high level NICU. He still was in an isolette with the lights and a CPAP for the 1st few days. Expect a few flashbacks to NICU days, but for the most part - like was mentioned - this is a different playing field. He did great and we were doing well with nursing (except that time around I was not producing). Here's hopin' for a easy time getting home for your new baby and family!

I have a formerly 3lb 3 oz 33 weeker making me crazy with all of his 3 year old craziness! He was small, but lungs etc... were ok. did you have the steroids? Parker spent a month in the NICU growing and learning to suck. You have a week on me, so that is even better. good luck.
Re : Delivering Tomorrow
Wishing you all the best Susan, hoping for a smooth delivery and spunky, strong daughter for you. I can't wait to hear that all is well, take care and know that many thoughts are with you

Hi
I will be thinking about you and the baby tomorrow... My 34 + 3 wker was 4lbs 6 and he spent 15 days in the hospital he was a feeder, grower & treatment for jaundice only no big preemie issues....
My daughter was born at just 33 wks was 3lbs and she spent 1mth in NICU but she had breathing issues, infection, and suppected NEC..
Hope all goes well... We will be praying for you ....
Please update soon

Susan
I say you did pretty darn good! To go from a previous 26 weeker pregnancy to a 34 weeker this time - I'd call it a huge success! Still, I understand what you mean when you have a goal set for yourself of what you'd love to see happen, and things just don't quite work out; it can be disappointing. Even though this baby is early, I think this will be a completely different ball game than you were facing with Ben. Glad to hear that the doctors have been keeping a close eye on you. Hoping everything goes wonderfully today, and looking forward to an update whenever you get to it.

Susan, I'll be thinking good thoughts for you! Mine was a 31.5-weeker (who weighed an ounce more than Caryn's boy-LOL), so I can't tell you what to expect. Just know you and your baby girl will be in my prayers tomorrow.
