Hi Catherine,
I'm really sorry you are going through this... no matter if it is planned or un-planned it is still disappointing when things don't turn out.
I do agree, however, that it is possible for it to be too early, With my third I had an internal ultrasound where sac was measuring 6.5 but no heart beat and they told me that I would mis-carry shortly as I was sure of my dates.
I was devistated and waited and waited and a week and a half later I still "felt" pregnant and hadn't started bleeding... Sure enough went in for another u/s and there he was!!! Not sure where he was before, but I went on to have a good pregnancy (until the PE of course).
I don't want to get your hopes up, cause I know that makes it hard aswell, but don't count it out.
I am praying for you and hoping for the best.

Hang in there..I went to see my peri for the first time last week and I was only 7 weeks...and they could only clearly make out the sac...tried a regular u/s then did an intravaginal...DO NOT think the worst...wait and see...it is very possible it is too early...I have an appointment with my peri to get an u/s again on Monday...he said it was just too early to see...not to worry...
