Hi Joanna! I am so happy to hear that Daniel may be going home soon. I have been thinking about you both. Alaina received the bottle while in the special care nursery and we had a difficult time with nursing and latching on in the beginning! (She also had to be supplemented with formula d/t losing too much weight) Once I got home and had more time, (without all the interruptions in the hospital), she did so much better. I know when Alaina had problems latching on was when I was engorged. She wasn't able to nurse then and I actually had to pump (a small amount) before I could nurse her.
I also met with lactation consultants who helped me too!

What a wonderful update! So glad to hear that Daniel is doing better! I hope that today went well and that's he's able to come home tomorrow. We'll continue saying those prayers for you both. Keep us updated on his progress.
