Another update:
This is really weird. I went in this morning and my blood pressure again was 110/76. That's today and Friday that I had totally normal readings. The doctor is starting to think I just had something fluky going on at the two appointments when it was high, because I have no signs of PE, no protein (not even a trace), no nothing.
And now she wants me to wait until Friday for induction, if nothing's happened by then. I'm not sure what to do, because obviously, I am worried about things quickly deteriorating (although for me it seems to be more of a gradual process) into PE, but am also worried about a failed induction and a potential C-section (still only dilated 1-2 cm and 70 percent effaced). So I'm checking my own pressures in the meantime, and they're OK, and praying I go into labor on my own.
I'll keep you guys posted.

The hospital does have internet access....but it is dial-up and you either need to bring your own laptop, or get on a waiting list to use one of the hospitals. I'll email you my number just in case! Can't wait. I also CANNOT believe they will let you go over due....especially with labile pressures. I'd talk to the peri about that one!

You guys are too sweet! Nothing's happened yet. In fact, I don't feel like anything's progressing at all, but I guess it could still happen naturally.
However, my BP readings have been all over the map -- last Mon. it was 130/86, then 142/86 on Thurs., then 110/70 on Fri. So my OB ran a PE blood panel just to be safe and that was totally normal, plus minimal proteinuria. She said she'll keep letting me go until I'm about five days overdue if things stay stable, but may induce on Mon. after my appt. if my BP looks ugly. Stay tuned!
