Sheesh, Why do I always miss the "I am Pregnant" part?!?!?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Keep your head up. They started me on Labetalol at 8 weeks. I have made it to almost 31 weeks, with many scares, but still no PE! YEAH!

GOOD LUCK on the prengnancy!

Doesn't sound like a fun appt. at all! I know just what you mean about feeling like a pill popper. Even though I know what I take is necessary, it just feels so strange to be taking so much medication when pregnant (2 Labetalol a day, aspirin, thyroid pill, iron, prenatal vitamin!) Taking BP every 2 hours must be hard. It is so nervewracking taking it sometimes. I hope all is going well and your BP goes down! Having a good ultrasound is so nice, though. The frequent USs I have had is really what is keeping me going---seeing that little guy or gal dancing around!

I'm sorry your having such a tough time...I'm glad your dr. is watching you that close. Hopefully they will get the doses straightened out.

Congrats on the ultrasound though!

It seems that both of your drs are on top of things. Hang in there and be encouraged. We are thinking about you both (AngelKat and Therese).

Sounds like you've got a great doctor! Hang in there, I know it's hard! I'm giving myself two injections a day, three tums, prenatal vitamins, baby aspirin and aldomet twice a day. Now I have hives and have to take benadryl, too! I feel like a walking drug store!! I, too, am only 11 weeks!

Oh sweetheart... I am praying for you and your precious babe. I am glad to hear that the ultrasound went well. It is also great to hear that your provider is on top of how things are going for you. It is such a hard thing to accept taking the meds. I haven't accepted everything this time around. I pray all the time that I could just be "normal" and have a "perfect" pregnancy!

Please know that you are in my thoughts...

Yesterday, I went back to the Peri for my appt after a wonderful ultrasound I had plenty of time to wander to the other side of the hosptial over to the NICU where I had lunch with a few friends. Then back over to the doctor's for my appt. When I got there my BP was 150/100 so of course, my Doctor was NOT happy and took me out of work and changed my meds... Now I am taking Labetalol 200 mg 3 x a day and Hydralazine 25mg 3 x a day... I feel as if I am a pill popper and it's driving me nuts. All this and I am only 11 weeks!!!... I have to take my BP every 2 hours and fax in my # on Friday morning so they can make changes before the weekend. Praying it will stay down!
