I'm pregnant!!!!!

Well, I just found out today that I am pregnant!!!! I am very excited and anxious at the same time because of the complications I had with my first pregnancy. I delivered my daughter at 34 wks due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers! I just hope I can remain free of complications this time around!!! I will keep all of you updated! I am so glad I have this site for the extra support!!!

Thanks for all of the kind words! Actually, I just tested positive today with a home pregnancy test so I am not sure of my exact due date yet. I was so excited and at the same time very anxious. I knew many of you would be able to sympathize with my feelings so that is why I decided to post my news so soon. I have my first appointment next Wednesday. I assume my due date will be around mid November.

I had met with the maternal fetal specialist about 6 weeks ago for a preconception consult. I live in a smaller community and I am fortunate because he comes to my OBGYN’s office the last Friday of every month to see high-risk patients. I am thrilled that I will have direct access to him monthly! It works out great because he was the Dr who delivered my daughter several years ago when I was taken by life flight to Pittsburgh. I have lots of confidence in him!

I remember reading about your recent trip to see Dr. E. I know you said you were going to be on a medication for a little while before starting to try. I wanted to wish you luck! I will defiantly be thinking of you! Keep me updated!
