Its been a while since I've posted...Just wanted to share some positive news! I went to my OB on Friday and the Peri last night... both said everything is looking very good at the 23 wk. mark[:I]. My bp last night was an unbelievable 105/75!! So far the aldomet seems to be doing its job. My OB said the most important thing to do at this point for myself is to rest and try not to get stressed out! I've been watching my diet closely this time... lots of protein and fresh fruits and veggies and my weight gain has been right on track (by this point in my first preg I was packing on the pounds). And so far, no swelling. I hope my good fortune continues... Its nice to have a (somewhat) normal pregnancy (so far)!

Lauren,

That is terrific news. It sounds like you are doing really well! Keep us updated as you continue to progress. I am glad to hear someone has had some success not gaining as much weight as their first time. I am hoping that when I get pregnant next time I won't gain as much. I will have to watch my diet as well! Keep it up. You are doing great.

That's great, Lauren. I love hearing these positive updates! So now, just rest and stay stress free! Probably not real easy with a three year old!! Hang in there!
