I had my apppointment today and all is well. I'm feeling rather confident in my new doctor. I've gained 4 lbs this month (finally) and hopefully it won't become a problem of putting on too much weight now! LOL
My doctor agreed that my pulse and blood pressures, while not bad, are higher than my norm and require careful watching since the BP should be at its lowest now instead of 15-20 pts higher from my baseline. She offered to have me start coming every 2 weeks now (even if just for BP checks) but I told her I was fine with 4 weeks at this point. She'll be informed as soon as anything goes haywire anyway! [;)] She did mention that we will be upping the visits soon and setting up more of a BP schedule (when to take them at home, etc...though not in so many words). She said that I was intelligent (EGO BOOST! [:D] [:I]) and knew what to do. Which from what I understand, meant that she wasn't too concerned about letting us keep close watch at home at this point because I am fairly well informed.
The doctor is more concerned about AFI's in the 3rd trimester and we'll probably take another look when I get to that point in a couple months. According to her report I was at 10.4 cm which is still considered good, but below average. I was a tad concerned because Emma's was at 16 at this point and plummeted so quickly. She explained to me the differences between scoring AFI's in second and third trimesters (2 quadrants versus 4, I think) and it put me more at ease. I was already in my third trimester by the time we had Oligo problems so I never knew the difference between them.
So, while I still feel impending doom on the horizon [;)] (LOL you know what I mean) everything is going great!
