Thanks Laura. I just want to get home quickly. I am dreading the flight. I promise to check in once I am home. I am going into the UW friday and I'll post after my appt. Dr e won't be there, but I am seeing someone else and having an ultrasound to check the bleed. As of monday, the bleed was still there, although I am not bleeding outwards. There was a fetal heartbeat. However, the concern is that the bleeding isn't stopping. I can't keep anything down and am dreading the flight. I hope Yoni sleeps for most of it since it's in the evening. I am very nervous, but there's nothing that I can do.

Thanks again gals for all of your support and encouragement.

Bonnie,
happy to hear your doing better. boy do I remember the nausea..ick..and they hyperemesis. I used phenergan and then some dissolvable tab because I couldn't swallow pills(they worked really well) I will hunt through my info and meds and see if I can find it. I used to eat peaches and drink pink lemonade, who knows? [:)]I would probably follow the advice of your doctors here, they know you well. Did you fax all your info from your visit in canada to the UW? how is your BP? My prayers are with you and the peanut[:)] Take care and call if you need to[:)]

Bonnie, Canada actually has something called diclectin a med specifically for pregnancy nausea, and it is made of doxyclamine succinate (the active ingredient in unisom) and pyroxidine-

I'd call the pharmacy to see if they have anything with doxyclamine succinate OTC and failing that, ask for a prescription for diclectin from the docs office. I'd bet if you called it in to the doc, you wouldn't even have to be seen...

I'm thinking about you, honey. We'll all give a sigh of relief when you're safely home...

If you have to go back to the Dr. there, ask if they will prescribe Phenergan. It helped me a lot when I was so sick, earlier this month.

Otherwise I seem to remember someone reccommending grapefruit juice?? I know peppermint is supposed to be a natural stomach settler. Good luck.
You are in our thoughts.

Thanks Ladies. I knew that I could count on you for moral support. I am supposed to travel back late on April 1st. However, I am also supposed to go for a follow up ultrasound to see how things are looking before that. The dr here advised against flying if it is still bleeding, even though that contradicts the dr in seattle. To make matters more complicated, hospitals in Ontario will not accept my insurance (or any insurance for that matter). So, I paid up front for all services and am supposed to be reimbursed after I submit the claims. I really don't want to have to go through the whole ordeal again.

Luckily, my family and inlaws have been very helpful. I am now off to relax again. I'll fill you in once I have more news. For now, I haven't bled or spotted in a few days and the "allday" sickness is driving me insane. B6 isn't even touching it and I can't find Unisom here. Any other suggestions???

Thanks again!
