It's a GIRL!

I got the results of the amnio today---all was normal, and it's a GIRL! Very exciting news! We love our two boys so much, but I have always drempt of having a daughter also, and didn't think I ever would. My husband and I joke that my mother in law got one wish when she got to Heaven, as she wanted me to have a 3rd so much, but it took fertility drugs to have both my sons, and this pregnancy was a big surprise and happened on its own, just a few months after we lost my MIL. My DH and the boys are SO excited about having a daughter and little sister. Now we need a name---we had a boy name (Charles) but we have about 5 girl names and can't decide! Any votes? The names we are choosing from are Jane, Laurel, Lydia, Geneva and Suzanna.

Now I just need to stay healthy! Only 22 weeks to go!

Suzanne (38) and DH Tony (42) + William (9, severe PE, born at 32 weeks) and Freddy (6, fairly typical pregnancy) and Baby (due approx. 8/26/04!)

Oooh I am so jealous!! I have 2 boys and would love a girl!! Okay how atrange is this.... My mom's name is Jane and her grandmothers name was Lydia!! Personally, I like the name Lydia..It's so pretty and rarely used. That's awesome on the bp front too!!!

If one is your MIL's name, I vote for that one!

Congratulations on having a girl - it is so much fun! I love the name Lydia - I played a character by that name once in a play and have always loved it. We find out tomorrow (hopefully) if we are having a boy or a girl - we are stuck for girl names - we had picked out Hannah - but then I found out how popular it is so I am looking for something else. Both my dh and I have been in education so it is hard, every time I come up with a name my dh had a student by that name he didn't like!!! Happy shopping for pink dresses!!
